Food Drive

The Kiwanis Club of Glen Ellyn and its family of clubs, Aktion Club of WDSRA, Glenbard West Key Club, Glenbard South Key Club, Glen Crest Middle School Builder's Club will be collecting canned goods, soaps, paper goods and donations to restock our heavily depleted local food panties. We will be at McChesney and Miller August 27, 2011 and Jewel (Roosevelt Rd.), Dominick's (Baker Hill) Sept. 10, 2011 to collect donations.

We will also pick up donations around town. Call Glenn Scott at 312-318-7983. We need:

• Peanut butter & jelly
• Canned fruit & fruit juices
• Canned meat (no refrigeration needed)
• One-dish meals (spaghetti, beef stew, chinese, etc.)
• Dry spaghetti, macaroni and spaghetti sauce
• Paper products (towels, tissue, Kleenex)
• Soap, detergent, cleaners
• Toothbrushes & toothpaste, shampoo, personal hygiene items
